Look for the NY Mets to bounce back on Sunday. Phillies starter AJ Burnett allowed one run, three hits and one walk and struck out a season high 12 in seven innings on Monday against the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park. That was rare as he has gone 0-5 with a 7.52 ERA in his previous five starts and pitched awful. I don't think he all of a sudden found his groove. It was a fluke! Mets starter Gee is fresh off one of his better games of the second half, a 6 2/3-inning, two-run effort against the Braves on Tuesday. The right-hander's only better recent start came against these same Phillies on Aug. 9 -- one run on three hits in seven innings. I like the Mets at home behind Gee this afternoon.
