EMU has played better on the road this season, winning three straight. They crushed Western Michigan and beat Ball State as road dogs. Akron lost to Miami 27-9 in their last home game. They aren’t very competitive right now. EMU wins with defense and faces an Akron team that will throw a lot. Fortunately, the Eagles have a very good pass defense. Akron’s run defense is ranked 110th and the Eagles should run all over them with Samson Evans having a big game.
