Milwaukee Brewers -110
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -110.00 Milwaukee (Away)
Result: Win
Both teams were involved in walk-offs Wednesday though on opposite sides of the equation. Milwaukee lost 4-1 in Minnesota to the Twins on a walk-off three-run homer by Jose Miranda off Josh Hader. He's given up runs in four of his last five appearances so perhaps the upcoming All-Star break will give him an opportunity to recalibrate. San Francisco rallied in the late innings to beat Arizona 4-3 in the finale of their set on Brandon Crawford's game-ending RBI single. We've got a pair of solid pitchers going here as Corbin Burnes (7-4, 2.20 ERA, 26 BB, 134 K over 106.1 innings in 17 starts) gets the ball for Milwaukee against the Giants' Carlos Rodon (8-5, 2.70 ERA, 32 BB, 124 K in 100 innings over 17 starts) in this opener. Rodon threw a complete game in his last outing, which was a win over San Diego Saturday as he fanned 12. Don't expect a ton of runs in this contest: the Brewers hit .221 against left-handed pitching while the Giants are hitting only .231 against righties. Burnes is 4-0 in his last five starts with a 1.34 WHIP, nine walks and 42 strikeouts over 33.2 innings of work. Give a slight edge to the Brewers here as they steal one on the road.
