We backed Los Angeles Sunday with Julio Urias on the mound and they rolled to an 8-1 victory to take a 2-1 advantage in the series. Here in the series finale, they go with Tony Gonsolin, who has been on fire after a rough stretch coming out of the All-Star break. He's won five straight starts, allowing a total of five earned runs over 28.2 innings of work with eight walks and 26 strikeouts in that stretch. Gonsolin has been stellar on the road, going 7-0 with a 2.66 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP, 17 walks and 64 strikeouts over 64.1 innings this season. Pablo Lopez gets the call for Miami but he has just one win in his last five starts, with that coming over a weak Oakland squad in his previous outing. In the four starts preceding that, he had allowed 18 runs on 31 hits with five walks and 13 strikeouts over 18 innings. Seeing how Los Angeles got to Edward Cabrera on Sunday, a pitcher that was on a roll, they should be able to dent Lopez and win this one by multiple runs to cover the run line.
