We’ve got a classic Canadian rivalry on deck as the Canadiens head into Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs, and this one has all the signs of a back-and-forth goal fest. The total is sitting at 5.5, and with the way both teams have been playing lately, we’re expecting that number to get cleared.

Toronto has been lighting it up all year, averaging over 3.2 goals per game, and their top-end talent always shows up in games like this. But the Leafs have also been giving some of that offense right back—they’ve hit the over in five of their last ten, and their defense hasn’t exactly locked things down. On the other side, Montreal’s been scrappy, and even though they’re underdogs, they’ve played spoiler plenty of times this season. Their D has been shaky too, allowing over 3.2 goals a night, and that opens the door for both sides to get theirs.
