THE INSIDERS ROOM'S 10* PLAY ON THE RAPTORS/BUCKS!
(NBA) Toronto vs. Milwaukee,
Point Spread: 5.50 | -110.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 5.50 | -110.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the Raptors.
The top two teams in the East sqaure off. Nothing is on the line here, as both clubs are locked into their respective positions despite what happens over the remainder of the handful of games left to go in the NBA re-start opener.
That said, the defending champs appear to be on a mission early and that's to send a message to the rest of the league that they're taking every single game and matchup seriously.
Toronto comes in off a win over Memphis last night and so far it's held four of five opponents to 103 points or fewer.
The second game of a back to back at the end of the season would of course be "tough" on a team, but these players have had three and a half months off to recondition and there's no way any of these top notch athletes will be exhausted here in the second game of the back to back scenario so early on.
The Bucks have already locked down the No. 1 spot, so this game is in fact completely meaningless to them. Note that they've lost both national showdowns in the bubble already as well (Rockets and Mavericks.)
Toronto is deep and its offense is underrated. The Raptors won't be rolling over, as it appears for sure that they plan to play as hard as possible every time they hit the floor.
While the outright is possible, in the end I'll recommend to grab as many points as you can.
Good luck, NP
