This is an 8* TOP AL AFTERNOON TOTAL on the UNDER Mariners/Angels.

The first two games of this series have flown OVER the number, but I expect the finale to sneak UNDER.

Seattle won the first game by a score of 6-5, before the Angels then won 9-4 on Saturday.

Logan Gilbert is 3-2 with a 3.51 ERA and he'll be eager to get back onto the field after his last start on July 9th against the Yankees went so well, as he'd allow one hit and no walks while striking out eight over seven scoreless.

Gilbert's been great on the road as well, going 2-0 with a 2.09 ERA thus far.

The home side goes with Patrick Sandoval (2-3, 3.70) who will also be hungry to take the mound tonight, as he suffered a loss in his last outing despite allowing just two runs over six innings to the Mariners on July 11th.

The lefty though has conceded three or fewer runs, while going at least five innings in each of his past eight outings.

Over 44.2 innings of work Sandoval owns a sharp 49:18 K:BB. He also has a 3.18 ERA at home.

Look for these two competent hurlers to garner the most headlines in tomorrow's summaries.
