This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION TOTAL on the OVER Tigers/Indians.
Detroit's now seen the total go UNDER in eight straight. I've had the OVER in its last two, and I've obviously come up short each time.
I say third times a charm here though, as all signs point to this one blasting well past the posted number sooner, rather than later.
Zero faith in either starter. Each has shown some promise, but I'm expecting each to struggle here.
Detroit's Tyler Alexander is 1-1 with a 4.77 ERA. He's only gone four innings in each of his last two starts and he's 0-0 with a 5.84 ERA on the road.
Cleveland's Eli Morgan is 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA. Off a decent start against the Jays in which he allowed just two runs, I say a predictable step back is going to happen. He's 1-2 with an 8.94 ERA at home.
I predict these two young starters will get the HOOK early, and that'll ultimatley help in driving this total OVER before it's through.
