The Panthers are 1-1. They're coming off an impressive 26-7 win over the Saints and I think they keep the momentum rolling here. Sam Darnold had 305 passing yards and two touchdowns. Carolina's defense has been excellent as well
The Texans lost 31-21 to Cleveland last weekend. QB Tyrod Taylor got injured at the end of the first half and he's now out. Davis Mills filled in admirably last week, but there's no question that he faces a stiff opponent today in his first ever NFL start.
Houston is is also just 4-8 ATS in its last 12 at home, while Carolina is 7-0 ATS in its last seven on the road.
Carolina's defense held Saints' RB Alvin Kamara to just five yards last week. I think Houston's offense will be even more one dimensional this evening.
