This is an 8* SPECIAL on the OVER Red Sox/Orioles.

Neither team has been playing to many high-scorin affairs of late, but we're expecting that trend to end in a big way today.

The visitors hand the ball to Nick Pivetta (0-3, 8.27 ERA), while the home side counters with Jordan Lyles (1-2, 5.40.)

Boston enters May with a 9-13 record, while Baltimore comes into the new month with a 7-14 mark.

Both teams are hungry to get their respective offenses going.

Lyles is in for another long day here in my opinion. In his last start he served up three homers at Yankee Stadium (he led the AL last year with 38 homers allowed.) He's just 1-1 with a 6.10 ERA in in four career starts against Boston.

Pivetta has had success against Baltimore in the past, but he enters in terrible form, going 0-6 with a 6.61 ERA over his past 12 appearances.

Look for these two suspect starters to get chased early. The play is the OVER.
