This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER Orioles/Guardians.
I had a play on the OVER in the Orioles 4-0 victory yesterday, and while that play did unfortunatley come up short, we do now love the way that Thursday's contest finally sets up as a "SLUG-FEST."
Baltimore has now seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of its last ten and in seven straight, while Cleveland has seen the total go UNDER in nine of its last ten as well, including in three straight.
Note though that Cleveland has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to avenge a shutout home loss against an opponent.
Kyle Bradish is 2-5 with a 5.63 ERA for the Orioles. He's actually been better on the road than at home and while he's been sharp of late, this is just a case of the rookie being in the wrong place at the wrong time this evening.
The home side counters with Shane Bieber (8-7, 3.02) who has had plenty of success against the Orioles in the past, but like his opponent today, we just feel that the overall situation points to some runs being plated this evening.
Yes, these are two decent pitchers, but this O/U line is now just a bit TOO low. The public is quick to jump on an "UNDER" whenever they see these two teams are involved, but now the value has swung the other way.
