Looking to be a "contrarian" bettor on Thursday night, then consider grabbing the Nets and the points in Portland!

Brooklyn is 6-9 overall, and 3-5 on the road, but I think it matches up well here against the 10-4 Blazers (who are 4-2 at home.)

The Nets are off a 153-121 loss at Sacramento. Brooklyn kicked off its road trip with a 110-95 win against the Clippers, but it's since suffered back-to-back losses. Kevin Durant doesn't have a ton of help around him, but I still think he and his team can bounce back here. Brooklyn had turned the corner previously on the defensive end under new coach Jacque Vaughn, conceding 94 points over his first six games.

Portland has won four of its last five, and somehow sits in No. 1 in the West right now. I say regression is imminent for the Blazers.

After back-to-back poor outings, I like Durant and company to deliver here in the Pacific Northwest on Thursday night.
