Vancouver ended a three-game losing streak after a 6-5 shootout win last night over Montreal. Until last night, Vancouver is one of just six NHL teams that has not scored a power-play goal this season but they found the back of the net three times last night on the powerplay. As a team, they are putting up 3.63 goals a game and are scoring on 30.8 percent of their powerplays. On the defensive end, they are giving up 4.5 goals and they are killing off 56 percent of their penalties.

Montreal will have the advantage between the pipes with Allen in net over Demko. The Canadians will be looking for revenge after last night's loss in a shootout. Until last night, Vancouver had not scored on the powerplay and Montreal has the better special teams, last night notwithstanding.
