THE PROFESSOR’S NBA “CLASS-IS-IN-SESSION” BLOWOUT!
(NBA) Utah vs. LA Clippers,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -115.00 Utah (Away)
Result: Win
The Utah Jazz has been a juggernaut this season having won 19 of their last 20 games and they will be going for their ninth straight win. They are coming off a 134-123 win over Philadelphia. As a team, the Jazz is putting up 115.7 points a game and they are shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 106.3 points and their opponents are shooting 44percent from the field and 35.3 percent from deep. The offense is led by Donavon Mitchell with 24.2 points and 5.1 assists a game. Jordan Clarkson adds 18.2 points and Mike Conley chips in 16.5 points

The Los Angeles Clippers have been on a nice run having won eight of their last 11 games and are going for a fifth straight win. They are coming off a 125-118 win over Miami. As a team, the Clippers are putting up 116.1 points a game and they are shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 42.4 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 108.4 points and their opponents are shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from deep. The offense is led by Kawhi Leanard with 26.7 points and 5,9 rebounds a game. Paul George adds 24.2 points and 6.2 rebounds and Marcus Morris chips in 13.5 points.

The Jazz is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Los Angeles and the Jazz are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall. This could be a game of attrition as Mike Conley is listed as questionable for the Jazz while the Clippers will be without Paul George, Nicolas Batum, and possibly even Kawhi Leonard. With that being said, the Jazz is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and have just been on an amazing run beating almost everyone they face by double-digits. This one may be closer than that but I like the Jazz to win and cover.
