NBA Beatdown on the Hardwood
(NBA) Phoenix vs. New Orleans,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -105.00 Phoenix (Away)
Result: Win
The Phoenix Suns have had a nice run as of late, winning nine of their last. 11 games. They are coming off a big loss to the Brooklyn Nets, a game in which they blew a 24 point lead. The loss stopped the Sun's six-game winning streak. In the loss, Chris Paul led the Suns with 29 points and he dished out seven assists. Devin Booker added 22 points and seven assists. DeAndre Ayton contributed 16 points and Jae Crowder chipped in with 15 points. They couldn't stop James Harden who had 38 points and led a big Nets comeback.

The New Orleans Pelicans have lost four of their last five games and are coming off a 126-124 home loss to Portland. The Pels were led by Zion Williamson with 36 points while Lonzo Ball added 21 points and he dishes out five assists. JJ Redick chipped in with 16 points off the bench.

The Suns are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games overall. The Pelicans are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games against a team with a winning road record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

The Suns let one get away to the Nets. The Pelicans have been struggling lately and are coming off a tough loss to the Trailblazers. The Pelicans won the last meeting between these two teams, but the Suns are playing better right now. I like the Suns to bounce back and come away with a win and cover.

Play on Phoenix.
