The Chicago White Sox will look to build on their 8-2 win over Detroit in the first game of their weekend series last night. The Sox were coming off a sweep of the Twins and held a narrow 3-2 lead going into the ninth before exploding for 5 runs. The Sox will give today's start to Dallas Keuchel. So far this season, he has posted a 3.96 ERA with 53 strikeouts and 27 walks in 86.1 innings. The Tigers had taken two of three from Cleveland before falling last night to the Sox. The Tigers will look to get a win on the arm of Tarik Skubal. This season, he has posted a 4.06 ERA with 94 strikeouts and 36 walks in 77.2 innings.

In Skubal's last five starts in June, he has posted a 2-0 record with a 3.14 ERA. The Chicago offense has scored at least seven runs in five straight games and is doing it with people recently called up from the minors. This Sox offense has shown it can explode at any time and the Tigers just don't match up offensively.
