The Colorado Rockies have been on a nice little run having won seven of their last 10 games but they are not good on the road The Rocky's offense came to life against the Diamondbacks, scoring 16 runs in their last three games. The Rockies will look to keep things going by sending Kyle Freeland to the mound. So far this season, he has posted a 1-2 record with a 5.50 ERA and 29 strikeouts this season. In his career against the Padres, he is 3-3 with a 4.08 ERA and 52 strikeouts.

The Padres need a win after losing five of their last eight games. The Padre offense has been punding the ball, putting up 21 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in five straight games. Blake Snell will take the mound for the Padres. He is has posted a 3-3 record this season with a 4.99 ERA. He has posted a 1.43 ERA in seven starts at Petco Park.


The Rockies have been playing some really good baseball but are on the road and not playing Arizona. The Padres have beaten up on the Rockies recently and should have a lot of momentum after yesterday's come-from-behind win. I am looking for the Padres to turn yesterday's win into a pounding of the Rockies.
