The Cincinnati Reds will look to remain hot after taking game one of the series with the Milwaukee Brewers and seven of their last nine. The Reds offense has been firing on all cylinders as they have put up 10 runs in their last three games. Vladimir Gutierrez will get the start for the Reds today. So far this season, he has posted a 4-3 record with a 4.67 ERA and 36 strikeouts. Against Milwaukee in his career, he is a perfect 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA and 13 strikeouts.

The Milwaukee Brewers come into this game having won six of their last 10 and will look to hold off the Reds in the NL Central race. The Brewers will counter by sending Freddy Peralta to the mound. So far this season, he has posted a 7-3 record with a 2.23 ERA and 129 strikeouts. Against the reds in his career, he has gone 2-2 with a 3.35 ERA and 59 strikeouts in his career.

Vladimir Gutierrez has allowed three or fewer runs in six of his eight starts. He has also stymied the Brewers twice this season. The Brewers have the better pitcher but their offense can be sluggish. The Reds offense can slug and I will take the more potent offense in a pitching matchup that isn't too one-sided. I like the huge +money on the Reds.
