The Chicago Cubs looked good to start the season but had a terrible run over the last month or so and will more likely than not be sellers at the trade deadline. Arizona Diamondbacks have been the worst team in baseball all season and they will be going through the motions the second half of the season. The Cubs picked up a win yesterday and if they want to make a run against the Brewers they need to win today also. in order to get the job done, the Cubs will be handing the ball to Albert Alzolay. This season, he has posted a 4-9 record with a 4.66 ERA and 81 strikeouts this season. Asa sign of how woeful the D'backs are, they have scored just six runs in their last three games. Arizona will send Zac Gallen to the mound to face the Cubs. He is 1-4 this season, with a 4.17 ERA and 49 strikeouts this season.

The Cubs did what they had to do and won the first game coming out of the break. They will need to continue to do that over the next week or they will definitely be breaking this team up. Alzolay also hasn’t been great this season but he is facing the Diamondbacks. Take the Cubs for another much-needed win.
