The Washington Nationals are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Miami Marlins last night. Erick Fedde went six innings, giving up an unearned run in the loss. The Nationals will turn to Patrick Corbin to start today's game. So far this season, he is 6-8 with a 5.66 ERA and 76 strikeouts. Against Baltimore in his career, he is 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA and 25 strikeouts.

The Baltimore Orioles are coming off a loss as well as they dropped a 5-4 game to the Tampa Bay Rays. Starter Alexander Wells gave up three runs in 5.2 innings but did not factor in the decision. Jorge Lopez makes the start for the Orioles. This season, he has posted a 2-12 record with a 6.04 ERA and 85 strikeouts.

Washington is 6-1 in their last 7 interleague games and 12-3 in their last 15 games as a favorite. The Nationals offense should have plenty of opportunities to score off of Lopez\. Corbin has been nothing to write home about but he is facing the Orioles. I will take the Nationals offense in this one.
