The Atlanta Braves have taken the first two games of their series with the St. Louis Cardinals and have won five of their last eight games. The Brave's offense has put up 14 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in five of their last six games. The Braves will look to continue their winning ways by sending Touki Toussaint to the mound. He is 1-2 with a 4.76 ERA and 20 strikeouts this season. Against the Cardinals in his career, he is 1-0 with a 2.79 ERA and 12 strikeouts.

The St. Louis Cardinals have been up and down all season and have not been able to put things together at a sustainable rate. The Cardinals offense has put up 12 runs in their last three games. They will look to salvage a win over the Braves by sending Wade LeBlanc to the mound. This season he has posted a 0-2 with a 4.17 ERA and 27 strikeouts. In his career against the Braves, he is 0-4 with a 6.28 ERA and 20 strikeouts.

The Braves have finally put things together and are making a run at the NY Mets for the NL East title. Toussaint had a rough outing against the Brewers in his last outing but in his two starts before that he was solid. I like the Braves to continue their winning ways against the Cardinals and as they continue their quest to catch the Mets.
