The Chicago Cubs found some offense last night but didn't have the pitching to go with it as they dropped a 14-10 game to the Miami Marlins. Albert Alzolay gave up six runs on five hits in just 1.1 innings and is now 4-13 this year. The Cubs will turn to Zach Davies for today's start. He has posted a 6-9 record with a 5.26 ERA and 84 strikeouts this season.
The Miami Marlins will look to carry their offense into today's game. Jesus Luzardo wasn't great in the win but did enough to get the win. He went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits. His record is now 5-4 on the year. while walking four and striking out six over five innings of work. The Marlins will go with Zach Thompson.

The first game on Friday saw these two teams score 24 runs combined and you can't expect that many today, I am still expecting a lot. Davies has been terrible this season and Tompson isn't great either. The over is 4-0-1 in Davies' last five starts overall. The Marlins, the over in their last six against a right-handed starter.
