Jose Quintana is expected to make the start but that has not been confirmed. He has posted an 0-3 record with a 6.75 ERA in 53.1 innings with 73 strikeouts and 29 walks.

The Angels have been battling with injuries all season, especially to their pitching staff which has been decimated. The Yankees had a thirteen-game winning streak going before the offense sputtered in two straight losses. Expect Kluber to be on a pitch count in this start as it is his first start in over three months. The Yankees offense should have their chances to get going again as the Angels staff should not pose much of a problem.
