ACC-SEC TAKEDOWN (JUST $25)
(NCAAF) NC State vs. Mississippi State,
Point Spread: -1.00 | -107.00 NC State (Away)
Result: Loss
The SEC takes on the ACC when the Mississippi State Bulldogs meet up with the NC State Wolfpack. The NC State Wolfpack are coming in off a win over USF and Mississippi State hung on for a 1 point win over Louisiana Tech in their opener.
The NC State Wolfpack is led by Devin Leary who opened the season with 232 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception. The rushing attack put up 293 yards, led by Zonovan Knight with 163 yards and one touchdown. The defense pitched a shutout giving up just 271 yards of total offense.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs struggled in their open and were led by Will Rogers with 370 passing yards with three touchdowns and one interception. The Bulldogs rushed for just 65 yards a game, led by Jo’quavious Marks with 71 yards and two touchdowns. The defense once again looks to be a problem as they allowed 34 points and 369 yards to La Tech. The Wolfpack are just 3-10 ATS in their last 13 road games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Bulldogs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games and 3-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. NC State is a solid program and can hang with the SEC. The Wolfpack have a power running game that should be able to chew up chunks of yardage against this defense, allowing them to control the clock and keep the bulldog offense off the field. You know Mike Leach love to throw the ball and has a disdain for running the ball. NC State has one of the better secondaries in the ACC. I like NC State to wear down the Mississippi State defense and take over late in the game.

Play on NC State.
