The Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans meet in Tennessee on Sunday. Arizona went 8-8 last season While the Titans finished the season at 11-5 and finished first in the AFC South Division.
The 8-8 record was an improvement for an Arizona team that finished r 5-10-1 in 2019. They started strong, posting a 6-3 record but then went on to lose five of their last seven games. The Cardinals went out and added JJ Watt to bolster their defense and give them another person to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks. The Titans will rely on the running game again or more realistically they will rely on Dereck Henry. They did go out and get Julio Jones and he can remain healthy he will be a big weapon for Ryan Tannehill. A healthy Jones also opens u more running space for Henry and the crew.
Arizona has to travel east and play the early game with equates to a 10 am kickoff for them. Watt adds another dimension to the Card's defense but the offense will need to limit turnovers and control the ball. The Titans now have a big-time weapon in Jones to pair with Henry which gives them a dynamic 1-2 punch. I think the early starting time could get the Cards off to a sluggish start. I am taking the home team here.
