The Minnesota Twins take on the Chicago Cubs in MLB action. Both teams have been out of the playoffs for a while now si they are playing for pride and stats. The Twins will send Griffin Jax to the mound to face the Cubs. This season he has posted a 6.65 ERA in 69.0 innings, giving up 71 hits with 54 strikeouts and 25 walks. The Cubs will counter by sending Alec Mills to the hill. He has posted a 4.50 ERA in 106.0 innings, giving up 120 hits, with 78 strikeouts and 28 walks.

Mills has been inconsistent as of late. He has good outings and bad, when he in on he is very good. Jax has given up three or more earned in each of his last five starts and hasn’t gone past 4.2 innings in two of his last three. Mills is the better pitcher and the Cubs are probably the better team at this point.
