The Iowa State defense is ranked 11th in the nation for the fewest yards per play allowed. As good as their defense is their offense is just as bad as they have scored more than 24 points in just one of their last eight games against a Power-5 opponent. Both teams like to throw the ball but the weather could play a major factor in those plans as it is expected to be in the low 20s with 21 MPH winds. The under has cashed in eight of the 10 Iowa State games this season, and the under is 5-1 in Texas Tech's last six games played on a grass surface. If both teams need to run the ball, which neither team is particularly good at, I love this game to go under the number.
