The Pirates took the first game of the series putting up nine runs. With the win, the Pirates are 5-5 in their last 10 games while the Braves are 4-6. Reynaldo Lopez has been a surprise for the Braves. He is 2-1 with a 1.54 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP. He has given up more than two runs in only one of his eight starts. Mitch Keller gets the start here for Pittsburgh. He is 5-3 with a 3.84 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP, but his ERA in day games is 4.85. Pittsburgh is 16th in team ERA while the Braves are 4th. I am on the Braves in this one as I am going with the better pitching and Atlanta’s offense will do enough to get the win.
