Florida tied the series with a 3-2 overtime win at two games apiece. Both teams could feel that they should be up 3-1 or even have swept the series as close as these games have been and played out. Florida was second in shots per game but just 11th in goals at 3.23. On the defensive end, Florida is second in shots against and first in goals against per game at 2.41.The Rangers were 7th in goals at 3.39 and 12th in shots per game this season. On the defensive end, they were 10th in shots against and 7th in goals against per game at 2.76. We have seen this before, the Rangers are the underdog despite being at home. The series in tied but I would make the argument that the Panthers have been the better team.
