Frankie Montas vs Garrett Hill for Game 2 of the double header in Oakland, and even though I think Detroit wins the first game with Tarik on the mound, I can't put money on them to sweep Oakland on Thursday.

Garrett Hill has only 2 games started this season, he's gone 1-1, with a 5.73 ERA, 4 strikeouts, and 1.00 WHIP. Very young in his career in the MLB, I don't trust him to get the Tigers out of the slump they have been in since before the Break.

Montas hasn't been good this year, holding a 3-9 record, 3.26 ERA, 100 Strikeouts, and a 1.09 WHIP. He should be enough to handle a poor batting team much like themselves. Oakland has had the better run in the last 7 games, so I'll give them the edge in pitching and ability to score runs in this matchup at home.
