Result: Loss
I can't get over what Indiana did to Penn State 2 weeks ago in tbe Nittany Lions house, keeping it close 14 - 17 at halftime, 3 passing TDs, 269 passing yards, 2 wrs going for nearly 100 yards each. Penn State bounced back vs a pedestrian Maryland team but I don't think their defense is as elite as shown on paper and with this being Michigan's first real test of the season, I think they get up for this one in a big way. Mccarthy for Big Blue is averaging 237 yards passing, 3 INTs overall (all vs one Bowling Green team oddly) but avgs 2 td passes per game and has a 75% Attempt/Completion percentage. Drew Allar for the Nittany Lions isn't as accurate but is more careful with the ball while throwing more passes per game than Mccarthy. That's a dangerous game to play if throwing the ball that much vs Michigan and because I don't see Penn State winning the running battle especially the way Michigans Blake Corum has been a TD machine. Tough game overall, but I like both teams to really put a number on each other and because this game is on the road the Wolverines won't be able to bank on defense to win them this game so with all their road games going over, I'll take the over.
