Too many injuries for Memphis and too much defense on the Pelicans team who are 8-2 Against the spread this season in the last 10 home games, and are 9-4 overall in new Orleans. Ja Morant does return tonight, but this Grizzlies team needs alot more than his offensive qualities to win on the road against the bigger bodied Pelicans who also have elevated their 3pt shooting abilities this season (Grizzlies 28th in 3pt percentage to opponents) as well as their defense against 3pt shooting teams (4th in 3pt defense), so if Grizzlies can't get enough conversion at the rim, I have no faith that they can keep up in a 3pt shootout. Ja Morant not playing for months doesn't give me any concern that he will carry this team to a victory, and the deeper more seasoned team will dominate this game.
