MLB - Mets @ Nationals
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Washington,
Money Line: -115.00 NY Mets (Away)
Result: Win
Money Line: -115.00 NY Mets (Away)
Result: Win
I'm on the Mets Moneyline @ the Nationals for these reasons:
- Peterson is on the mound for the Mets and he's just the better option of the two starters for these teams today. He's not pitched much, but 20 strikeouts in the 27 inning pitched is enough for me against these Washington Bats that are bottom tier in Batting Average and runs per game. His arm will be relied upon heavily, because the team is struggling in the outfield.
- Nationals are starting Mckenzie Gore and he's also not been bad for Washington in terms of stats shown. That hasn't translated to many wins in regards to his win loss ratio, but I he's serviceable enough to keep this a tight game and support my side bet of the Under. The reason I'm going against Gore here, is because he's more hittable than Peterson and his Bats are likely to back him up when he performs well.
- The Mets have won 7 of the last 10 meetings.
Official Play: Mets Moneyline
Side Bet: Under 8 runs
Hail Mary: Peterson over 5.5 strikeouts
