Oklahoma is coming into this game with a 5-0 record this season and they are out to prove a point this year after the season they had last year. Venables in his 2nd season as head coach and now he has this defense figured out as they have been very good all year. Oklahoma has not allowed more than 20 points in any of their games this season and they have allowed just 11 points or less in 3 of their 5 games as well. Their redzone defense has also been very good as they are not allowing many points but also forcing turnovers as well. Oklahoma also has a very strong offense though and they are going to be able to attack this Texas defense that has not really seen a strong passing offense this year. They are going up against a Texas team that is also 5-0 this season and they are ranked number 3 in the country. Their defense has not allowed many points in their games either but they are coming off of a win against Kansas which they had their backup QB in for and they also have wins against Baylor and Wyoming who had their backup QBs in those games as well. Dillon Gabriel is going to stretch this defense out the way no other team they have faced has been able to do and offense is not going to be a problem for Oklahoma here. Texas is going to struggle against this Oklahoma defense that is the real deal this year and Oklahoma also has the extra motivation of being shutout in last year's meeting between these two. Oklahoma has one of the best teams in the country this season and they are going to show it here with an upset win over Texas. Oklahoma will cover the spread in this game.
