Army is coming into this game off of a loss in their last game but they are also coming out of their bye week so they have had some extra time to prepare for this game and they will be hungry to bounce back with a win at home. Army only scored 16 points in their loss on the road to Syracuse but their offense scored over 35 points in each of their 2 games prior to their last one and the Boston College defense will struggle to stop this kind of offense. Boston College does not have a good defense this season as they have allowed 24 points or more in all 5 of their games this season and they have not played many good teams either. They have losses to good teams in Florida State and Louisville as they allowed 31 points and 56 points in those games but even when they played against weaker teams in NIU, Holy Cross, and Virginia they still allowed 24 or more points in each. They also had to come back in their last game at home to beat Virginia who has one of the worst teams in the ACC so stopping this option offense on Army is going to be very tough for this bad defense. Army also has the much better defense as they have been averaging under 20 points allowed per game this year while Boston College has been averaging over 30 points allowed per game. Army is going to cover the spread in this game.
