Liberty is coming into this game with a 5-0 record this season and they have played very well in their games as they have been blowing out some very bad teams. They have struggled more in their games against better defenses though and they struggled a lot at home in their last game as they only beat Sam Houston State 21-16. Sam Houston State has struggled this season in the jump to FBS but they have definitely had a good defense in all of their games and that was a game that Liberty struggled to pull away in on their own field. Now Liberty is going to be on the road here and going up against a Jacksonville State team that has also been very good this season at 5-1 overall and with a 3-0 conference record just like Liberty. Jacksonville State has also won all 3 of their games at home this season and they have really been ramping up their play recently as they have scored at least 35 points in each of their last 2 games. Their offense has not been as good as Liberty's this year but JSU is still averaging over 30 points scored per game and they actually have the best defense in the Conference USA as they are averaging under 18 points allowed per game. Jacksonville State is a very speedy team and with the home advantage in this game as well, they will fight to keep this a very close conference game at home if they do not win it straight up themselves. Jacksonville State will cover the spread in this game.
