Colorado is coming into this game playing in a lot of high scoring games recently as their defense has been allowing a lot of points all season but their offense has also been scoring a lot of points as well. Colorado has scored at least 40 points in 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games, but they have also been playing a lot of bad defenses in that span. The only good defense they have faced this season was Oregon and they only scored 6 points on the road in that game. They are on the road again in this game and they are facing another very good defense as UCLA has only been allowing 14.9 points per game this season which ranks 10th in the country. UCLA has actually had a better defense than Oregon this season as they are allowing less points and this Colorado offense is going to struggle just as they did in that game. UCLA does not have a strong offense though as they only average around 30 points scored per game and they have also had QB issues this season. Colorado will have problems moving the ball against this UCLA defense but UCLA will also have their own issues on offense as bad as the Colorado defense has been. Colorado is also coming out of their bye week after blowing a 29 point lead at halftime and losing to Stanford at home so there is going to be a big response from the defense coming out of their bye week here. This is going to be a lower scoring game that stays under the total.
