The Chargers are coming into this game with a 5-10 record this season and they have had a very disappointing season for a team that is supposed to be a playoff team. The season has not gone their way as they have already been eliminated from playoff contention but they are also dealing with a lot of injuries to key players such as Justin Herbert, Mike Williams, and Kenan Allen. Their whole offense is banged up right now and they have lost their last 3 straight games. They played very well at home last week as they lost to the Bills 24-22, almost beating them in that game, but this is going to be a very different environment for Stick on the road in Denver. His only road start in the NFL in his career was their 63-21 loss against the Raiders and the Broncos also beat the Chargers a few weeks ago on the road, winning 24-7 in the game Herbert got injured for the season and Stick's 1st appearance in the offense. Stick actually gave the Chargers offense a spark when he came in to play in that game, but now the Broncos have seen him play in more games since then and they will have something dialed up at home to stop the Chargers since the Broncos still have a chance to make the playoffs. The Broncos are starting Jarrett Stidham in this game but he does have some experience as an NFL starter and the Broncos do have a very good run game for him to lean on as well as a defense that has been much better in recent weeks. The Broncos will cover the spread in this game.
