(NFL) Chiefs (KC) vs. Bills (BUF),
Point Spread: 2.50 | -110.00 Chiefs (KC) (Away)
Result: Loss
The Chiefs are coming into this game with a 9-0 record this season and they are the only team left in the league with no losses this season. Their offense has not been great for most of the season, but recently they have been heating up as they have scored 26+ points in 4 of their last 5 games. Their defense has also been great all season as they are averaging 17.9 points allowed per game which is 5th in the league. They have struggled more in their last 3 games as they beat the Raiders by 7 points, followed that up with a 6 point win in OT against the Buccaneers, and now they are coming off of a very close win in their last game, losing by 2 points to the Broncos in a game which they needed to block a last second field goal in just to win. That easily could have been a loss last week, but this team continues to find ways to win games this year and that game is going to serve as a rude awakening for them. They will not take this game for granted and they are going to get up for a road game which could have serious implications on the number 1 seed in the AFC. They are going up against a Bills team that is 8-2 this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 5 straight games and their offense has been on fire in these, scoring 30+ points in their last 4 straight games, but they also have not faced any great defenses in that span. This Chiefs defense is one of the better defenses in the league and they are not going to allow the Bills to move the ball so easily. The offense has been a problem for the Chiefs for most of the season, but they have been improving a lot in recent games and the Bills have been showing some holes on defense recently, allowing 20+ points in each of their last 2 as well as 4 of their last 6 games. The Bills have also struggled to stop the run on defense all season so the Chiefs are going to have success on the ground, but the Chiefs defense has also been very tough to run the ball against so that is going to limit options for Josh Allen and this Bills offense. The Chiefs will cover the spread in this game.
