Tennessee is coming into this game with a 4-0 record this season and they have been playing very well to start the season. They have won all 4 of their games by 10+ points, but 3 of those games were at home and they have not really played a strong opponent this season. Their home wins came against Gardner-Webb, Montana, and Austin Peay while their 1 road win came against Louisville, but Louisville has also been one of the worst teams in the ACC over the last few seasons. Tennessee also lost their best player from last season to the NBA as well as losing a few of their starters and seniors. They are returning Zakai Zeigler but this starting lineup is still trying to find it's rhythm with their new players. They are going up against a Virginia team that is 3-0 this season and they have been playing very well to start the season despite their head coach resigning right before the season. They have won all 3 of their games by 9+ points and they have also played some weaker teams in that span, but they are coming off of a 10 point win in a neutral location against Villanova in their last game. The defense has also been great on this team as it usually is, allowing no more than 60 points in any of their 3 games. Tennessee has the better offense, but they have not been tested against a good defense like Virginia and Virginia's defense has been better than Tennessee's to start the season. This game is also in a neutral location in The Bahamas so there is not going to be any real home advantage and the Virginia defense will keep them in this game as they are also unranked and looking to prove themselves under this new head coach. Virginia will cover the spread in this game.
