The Warriors are coming into this game with an 11-3 record this season and they are currently sitting at the top of the Western Conference. They have been playing well recently as they have won 4 of their last 5 games, but 3 of their last 4 games were also at home with their only loss in that span coming in their only road game. They are coming off of a win against the Hawks in their last game, winning by 23 points, but they actually lost their last road game by 3 points to the Clippers. They have also played in much closer games in this NBA IST as their last game in the tournament was a home win over the Grizzlies by 5 points and prior to that they beat the Mavericks at home by 3 points. They have actually struggled more on the road recently as they have lost 2 of their last 3 games on the road, and 1 of their last 2 road wins was also by 6 points. This is their 1st road game in the NBA IST and they are going up against a Pelicans team that is 4-12 this season and has not been playing well, but the Pelicans have been much better at home this season at 3-5 compared to their 1-7 record on the road. They have lost their last 3 straight games and they were blown out in their last 2 games by 20+ points in each, but both of those games were on the road as well and they will be hungry to bounce back here. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games at home, but both of those losses were by 5 points or less which includes a 5 point loss to the Lakers in their last home game, and their only win in that span came in their only home NBA IST game which was a 7 point win over the Nuggets. They have been playing much closer games at home recently and they won their only NBA IST at home as well so they are going to get up for this game and will be able to keep it closer against a Warriors team that has not played as well on the road recently.
