MACK'S NCAAF END ZONE EDGE PLAY**(WEEK ZERO!)
(NCAAF) Florida International (FIU) vs. LA Tech,
Point Spread: 12.50 | -106.00 Florida International (FIU) (Away)
Result: Win
This is a rematch game between two teams that went to three overtimes last season, only to have FIU pull out the win at home. This game is the first of the season for both to be getting tangled up with each other again but it is in Louisiana this time so the Bulldogs will have the home advantage. LA Tech has a somewhat improved roster this season returning key offensive production, but their defense finished 124 last season and there are a lot of questions in that area. QB transfer Bachmeirer did struggle last season with the air raid, and he is going to a team that runs the air raid, so there are a lot of questions there. Also their lead RB may not play. On the flip side, FIU lost some production to the portal but they where able to fill some holes on their defense and offense. Look for them to improve on both sides of the ball. They are also well coached and do well in the underdog role. Since they are on the road in this one and it's a revenge game for LA Tech, take the points as FIU will cover the spread between these two bad teams.

FLA International is 1-0 against the spread versus Louisiana Tech over the last 3 seasons. LA Tech as a favorite of 3.5 to 10 points are 2-5 in the last three seasons. Head to head, LA Tech has won four of their last five matchups. Florida International are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games. Louisiana Tech are 1-6 SU in their last 7 games.

Best bet: take the points with Florida International.
