MACK'S WNBA **PICK 'N ROLL!
(WNBA) Connecticut vs. Las Vegas,
Point Spread: -6.00 | -108.00 Las Vegas (Home)
Result: Win
The Sun roll into Vegas with a 13-1 record in a game they will play the Aces in for the first time this season. Now that Chelsa Gray is back for the Aces, look for the Aces to make up for lost ground. The line opened up at -2 and has quickly moved up favoring the Aces. The Sun have played a lot of the mid to bottom feeder teams and it’s been a while since they have played a good team. Their only loss to the NY Liberty puts a mark on a perfect record for them and this matchup will have the feel of a prize fight. Head to head, the Aces are 7-3 straight up versus the Sun but they are 4-6-0 against the spread in their last ten games. Last season the Sun won one game and the Aces won 2 in that series. The only home game for the Aces in that series was the one they won handily 102-84 and by the largest margin when compared to the other two games. In the other two games, both winners won by double digits but not as large of a win as the Aces home game win. Connecticut lost the only game it has played as the underdog this season. The Aces are one of the better 3 point shooting teams in percentage, sinking an average of 9.8 shots while ranking second best at 34.7%. The Sun are the second-worst in the league in 3-pointers made, averaging 5 per game and they are third worst in 3 point percentage at 30.4%. The Aces have one of the better offenses in the league, averaging 87.4 points per game and allow 85 points on average. The Sun average 80.9 points per game and only allow 70.7 points per game. The Sun have a stout defense and that will be the difference in this game, defense versus a high powered offensive machine. With Chelsea Gray back, this will be a statement game for the Aces to let the league know they are back. This matchup will be their toughest so far this season, but the Aces should pull out the win as they will outscore this Sun team who allow more points on defense while on the road this season. The Sun’s only loss was to the second best team as far as offensive shooting, the NY Liberty, the first being the Aces, and they lost by 7 points. The Aces will be too much offensive firepower for the Sun and will hand them their second loss of the season. They just have too much offensive talent that can score in double digits.

Best bet: lay the points with Las Vegas Aces to win and cover.
