The Royals are in regression mode in pitching and on offense. Their bullpen average has increased to over 5 and with Scherzer back on the mound today for the Rangers, even on a pitch count, is the better option over Marsh. Marsh has regressed in the last few weeks, especially on the road and got blown up in his last start. The team is 2-12 straight up in their last 14 games when playing on the road against Texas. The Royals have done poorly in this series and got shut out yesterday, generating no offense. That is going to carry over into this game as the Rangers bats will support Scherzer on the mound and they will win the game comfortably as they beat up on Marsh.
