The Reds come into this game off a three game win streak and they just took the first game in this series at home. They have Abbot on the mound and he’s started to play much better in this second half of the season with his ERA of 3.06 and a WHIP of 1.17 and the Marlins are going to struggle getting any runs off of Abbot as batters are only hitting .213 off against him and the Marlins are terrible at hitting left handed pitchers. The Marlins are 12-40 in their last 52 road games versus a left-handed starter. Miami has struggled all season with their offensive production or lack of, and they sit near the bottom in most of their offensive metrics. This should be an easy winner for the Reds today facing Cabrera with an ERA of 6.84 who gave up 10 runs in his last three games and is struggling with his control. Miami are 4-11 in their last 15 games when playing on the road against Cincinnati.
