New Mexico does not have a great offense and they do run the ball a lot, which could bleed some of the clock. Still, they will get their ground game going and then hit some big plays in the passing game against UNLV's 112th-ranked passing defense. Last week I played the Under in the New Mexico/ LSU game, but that was because they were playing against an SEC defense, so their scoring would be at a minimum. they are not playing an SEC defense in this one, which should allow them to hit the 20-point mark, as they did against UTEP. For the record, UNLV has allowed 23 ppg so far. the Rebels have been a solid offensive team in the early going, averaging 39.5 ppg so far. they are 56th in passing and New Mexico is 85th against the lypass, so I don't see how the Rebels don't score at least 27 in this one. Lastly, the Over is 14-2 in UNLV's last 16 games on Friday nights.
