UNDER 51.5: INDIANA-NOTRE DAME
(NCAAF) Hoosiers (IU) vs. Fighting Irish (ND),
Total: 51.50 | -115.00 Under
Result: Win
I project a lower-scoring game on Friday and believe there will be plenty of room to cash the under. These squads have posted strong defensive metrics this season and the Hoosiers and Irish are slow-paced teams, as they are tied at 100th nationally in plays per minute (2.11).

Indiana will pound the rock, but can it throw it, too? QB Kurtis Rourke faces an Irish secondary that leads the country in EPA per pass and passing success rate. Furthermore, the Hoosiers' run game was not successful against their top two opponents (40 yards on 28 carries (1.4 YPC) vs. Michigan and 83 yards on 41 carries (2.0 YPC) vs. Ohio State). Notre Dame has a reliable rushing attack, but the Hoosiers have the top run defense (70.8 rush yards/game allowed) and a legit front (20th in the nation in tackles for loss and 22nd in sacks).

The weather conditions should encourage a competitive, low-scoring game, and I feel confident both teams will rely on their ground games to drain the clock. It won't shock me if the first half is a 10-7 score or something close to that. Let's bet the under!
