#925/926 ASA PLAY ON Under 8 Runs – Milwaukee Brewers vs Seattle Mariners, Friday at 8:10 PM ET - The Brewers Freddy Peralta and Mariners Logan Gilbert are both solid starting pitchers and they are both off a great start to begin their season.  We look for a pitchers duel here and it will not stop with the starting pitching either!  That's because both bullpens are off to solid starts.  Don't be fooled by the Brewers bullpen 4.43 ERA as their 1.03 WHIP is one of the best in the National League early this season.  The Mariners bullpen has a sparkling 2.10 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP!  Runs should be hard to come by throughout this contest.  The Mariners are hitting just .196 this season and they have a paltry .289 slugging percentage.  The Brewers are hitting .271 and have a modest .400 slugging percentage but they are having trouble manufacturing runs.  Milwaukee scored 7 runs in one game but has averaged only 3.3 runs per game in their other 4 games this season!  Seattle, not including runs scored in extra innings, has averaged scoring just 1.7 runs per game in the 6 games since their season opener!  The Mariners have been struggling badly at the plate and all those games were at home too!  Now Seattle is beginning their first road trip of the season so things are unlikely to get any easier at the plate for their struggling lineup!  Last but not least, with this being an inter-league match-up, these hitters do not have a lot of experience against these pitchers.  If you like good old-fashioned pitchers duels, this one appears to have all the ingredients to be of those without a doubt.  Our computer math model is projecting 5 to 6 runs here and even if it gets to 7 that is still a winning ticket for us. We are going with the Under in this one.
