When playing off a conference loss the Hokies are a dreadful 0-9 with just 2 spread wins. When they take on teams that allow 65 or less in the 2nd half of a season they have failed to cover 11 of 14. Finally Va. Tech is 1-8 after scoring 60 or less and 1-6 to the spread when playing with 5 or 6 days rest. In the RPI Scale Miami is 7-2 vs teams ranked worse than 200, while Tech is 1-5 vs teams ranked 100 to 200. Look for Miami to get the cash tonight.
