This is a 7* MID-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the LA Kings.
These two teams are moving in opposite directions right now and I fully expect those trends to continue today, in my opinion we're getting great value on the revenge-minded Kings. The Preds stopped a six game slide by holding on for a 2-1 win over lowly Arizona on Monday, but then once again regressed in Thursday's 2-0 loss at San Jose. Nashville has now managed two or fewer goals six times in its past eight games; note that the power play has been the main culprit as the Predators have gone 0 for 16 in the last six games. Nashville has also allowed three power play goals on nine opportunities over its last two. LA is still fighting hard for a playoff spot and I think the momentum gets carried over here, the Kings are one point up on Winnipeg for the second wild card spot by going 4-0-1 in its last five. Note that LA's resurgence has come behind an offensive flurry, the team has scored 18 goals in its last four victories; the Kings have also clamped down defensively, giving up three just three goals over the last three games, most recently coming off a 4-0 win over the Canucks on Thursday. The Kings also play with the revenge factor today as they've dropped four straight in the series. In my opinion, this is the very definition of great line value, play on LA.
